Services

Lernia offers the following training services.

Training Deployment Strategy and Management

During the planning stages of a training project, Lernia can help you identify a comprehensive training strategy. This strategy will take in to consideration:

  • Levels of expertise available for the training project.
  • How job functions will change by the new solution.
  • When the various components of the solution will be implemented for each group.
  • Technological dependencies in the implementation plan.
  • Geographical, functional or resource risks and constraints.
  • Training logistics.
  • How training will be delivered, and identify proper training evaluation methods.
  • A long-term training strategy.

Customized Training Documentation

Training documentation is written concisely and for audience appropriate. When creating documentation, Lernia can:

  • Work with subject matter experts to design audience appropriate training documentation.
  • Develop training outlines with appropriate version control and document management guidelines.
  • Develop training materials in a clear and concise format.

Computer Application Training

Preparing for the implementation of a new technology is always a challenge. Lernia excels at working with all members of a project team to ensure that training will occur in a seamless and tightly integrated manner. Lernia can:

  • Coordinate with the IS Project Team to ensure training will occur within the appropriate development / production timelines.
  • Help IT professionals with 'bug testing' and recommend targeted system functionality.
  • Develop and run scripts for user acceptance / performance qualification testing.
  • Coordinate all training logistics (e.g. identification of training rooms, scheduling attendees, tracking attendance).
  • Incorporate IT specific requirements into training documentation.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Training

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are detailed, written instructions to achieve uniformity of the performance of a specific function. Training on SOPs is critical to ensuring that all procedures are understood by employees and followed accordingly. For clinical trials, the principles of ICH GCP, Section 2.9, state that "each individual involved in conducting a trial should be qualified by education, training, and experience to perform his or her respective task(s)."

Lernia can help train SOP's by creating workshops and focused training activities that help employees understand the SOPs. SOP training should also help employees learn to apply the SOP to situations they may experience on the job — not always a straightforward task.

Training for 21 CFR Part 11 Validated Systems

21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11 requires the "determination that persons who develop, maintain, or use electronic record/electronic signature systems have the education, training, and experience to perform their assigned tasks." Lernia will ensure that individuals are trained on proper written procedures and policies that govern the use of 21 CFR Part 11 systems. In addition, Lernia will outline the technological requirements for training, and ensure all training requirements are satisfied with validation timelines.

Training Resource Management

Lernia can:

  • Manage the training budget to ensure that expectations are set accurately, and that "going over budget" is not an option.
  • Manage training resources by ensuring those individuals with the experience and training background teach your audience.
  • Manage the timing of all training activities such that other implementation timelines are not impacted.

Training Delivery

One of the most important aspects of a training program is delivery. In the classroom, Lernia excels at breaking down the most complicated ideas into ones that can be understood by all audience levels.

Lernia can deliver training in three methods: Instructor-Led Training, Electronic Learning and Blended Learning.

For Instructor-Led training, Lernia:

  • Delivers high quality instruction to employees.
  • Teaches business process as well as system functionality.
  • Ensures that participants are confident about what they learned and how it applies to their job.
